    1. You are so inspiring. . .I feel like I was led to you. Don't ask me how I randomly landed on your website; I don't know! I feel you are a friend, I've never met. We share the same religion, we have shared similar trials, we love our families more than anything. I love the 52 weeks of soul searching concept. You are gifted with putting your thoughts to words, pictures and art. You have two beautiful children with lovely partners. I'm in the same boat. My son found his true love on his mission!! I pray this beautiful couple makes it to the alter! Please share more updates about your children and the progress of their romances. My name is Janalee, I've never blogged before. With my naivety, I'm signing off as "Anonymous." Blessings to you and yours.

  7. I just found you through Kristal Norton (WOOO HOOO!) and I'm in! Routine - the VERY words I am getting from other places. I'll get up that 30 (ohmygodwhathaveicommittedto) minutes early and be there. Starting now. Bless you and thanks for the challenge.

  8. I too found you though Kristal Norton. I also am up to the challenge - I think. I certainly want to make changes in my way of living so that I can have more time in my life for art and creativity. I think I am older than some of you. Instead of dealing with the constraints of work, children, etc. I am retired, children grown, but my beloved husband was diagnosed 2 years ago with Alzheimers. I am his 24/7 caregiver and am adamant that he will stay at home with me. That is no assistant living or nursing home. I know that I need a routine that includes my art time. Right now my routine is mostly caring for my husband and trying to keep myself together. Tired and stressed. Tomorrow will be different. Thank you for this class.

    1. Anonymous, I am so sorry for what you're going through. I'm happy to hear that you are a creative and artistic person, as that will surely provide you with some much needed escape from time to time. Being the primary care taker for a loved one with Alzheimer's is one of the most difficult and trying experiences a person can ever go through. No one can really understand it unless they've been through it. I personally have not, but as a hospice nurse I have had the opportunity to support several people who have. I encourage you, if you haven't already, to get hospice on board if your husband qualifies (and by the way, that doesn't mean he's dying soon). They can help in so many ways, and you need all the help and support you can find. Also let your friends and family know you need help and then let them help. And don't feel guilty about it. An Alzheimer's support group is also a good idea, even if it has to be on line. You can give your husband better care if you are also being cared for and supported. Sorry, I know this isn't directly about creativity (which I am totally committed to), but I hope it gives you some ideas to explore so you have the opportunity to indulge in pursuits that make you happy as you give your beloved husband this beautiful gift of your love and care. I will be praying for you.

  18. I love this! I'm just starting my first week and I can't wait to see the results that this will yield.

I have one question for the other people doing this... Because I am notorious for beginning something and then stopping when it gets difficult or even when I have an opportunity to stop... How should I approach a change to my new morning routine when I'm out of town?

  26. Umm...I also just found this and am not sure if the Facebook part is still open or if I should join that part too. I'm on week two and it's a bit daunting. Not in a bad way, just in a whoa, I feel unbalanced and out at sea. That's why I was wondering if I should join the facebook group. (Though sitting here I kind of want to get my own people...idk yet.) Thank you for what you have made here, either way. My blog isn't in real time just so you know but I list your website when I write about it.

I have also decided I'm in for the next year...along with a close friend ( my mom!) who will be joining me on the journey.I read a quote not too long ago: "When you shine your light, you give others permission to do the same." Thank you for being a transparent vessel...you shine bright, girl!!

  40. My Mum forwarded this to me as I am currently going through a Divorce and not feeling my best. I left my husband, home in the UK and friends to move back to my birth place so I am feeling very lost and lonely. I look forward to this and hope it will shine a light for me too. Thank you.
