Is it time to Reburish your life?

Happy Monday! Yes, this post is late for me...but I have a VERY good reason. You see I woke up super, duper early so I could CLEAN. Awwww, all that hard work and effort has paid off. I feel so peaceful and happy!!!!

How did you do with COMMITMENT last week? Well, as I've thought about it I realized I did okay. However, the one thing I truly wanted to stay committed to was clean eating and that fell by the wayside as the week progressed.

*sigh*

Thought I'd share what I DID stay committed to this week....

*I took time to create and play and relax in my space.
*I walked outside a total of 4 days.
*I served several friends this week.
*I kept my attitude positive.

These activities are all ones I promised myself I would do last week....and I did!

I would love to know how YOU did with your committments. Be sure and share in the comments if you'd like;)

This week's Word in our 52 Words 52 Weeks Challenge is....

RENEW

–verb (used with object)
1.
to begin or take up again, as an acquaintance, a conversation, etc.; resume.
2.
to make effective for an additional period: to renew a lease.
3.
to restore or replenish: to renew a stock of goods.
4.
to make, say, or do again.
5.
to revive; reestablish.
6.
to recover (youth, strength, etc.).
7.
to restore to a former state; make new or as if new again.

My favorite parts of the defiinition of RENEW is "to restore or replenish" and "make new". This week I will be renewing friendships, restoring our home to order, take up weight training and stretching and begin to make our our Holiday List. I am sooooo looking forward to this busy week!

Inside myself is a place where I live all alone and that is where I renew my springs that never dry up.

What needs "renewing" in your life?

  1. well, I pretty much need to renew EVERYTHING! I had the grand plan to get caught up with my words and then was layed up for my nice 4 day weekend with a stinkin cold! GAH.. I hate that! I'm on the upside of getting better though, so that's a good thing, guess I'll just slowly chip away at my to-do list and hopefully get it all done! I need to renew my committment to exercise and clean eating....I seem to always struggle with that one. Hmmm. Thanks for the words Leslie...:)

  8. What a wonderful word for this week, Les. I have to tell you, I don't know how you are picking these words - but they are falling hand in hand with where I need to be right now in my life. So I thank you for the weekly encouragement and reminder and focus on a better me.

Last week, I have to say I did really well with a couple of my COMMITMENTS, but not so well in others. It's all a learning process, though, so I'm ok with that. I committed to completely that baby gift, and I have to say that I really am proud to have completed it so quickly. I put my mind to it, and it came through. So that was a great accomplishment.

This week, I think RENEW is a GREAT WORD for me. My kitchen corner is looking a little too cluttered for this zen life I'm trying to live, oh - and my laundry room, too. WAY too cluttered. So I am going to RENEW and tackle both of those this week. I'll let you know how it goes.

So grateful for you, dear friend. Let's get together soon, ok? Maybe we can meet 1/2 way. How long of a drive would that be?

  12. Modified Push Ups -As I read your blog post, I couldn’t help but think of the Push Up Bench as the most effective way for people who struggle with push ups , to be able to do them correctly (with full range of motion). Most modified push ups make them easier but only allow one or two variations. The Push Up Bench has 11 different levels to work through on the way to a full push up.
