Our Greatest Gift

Everyday we get the chance to choose who we want to be.
We choose to be happy or  to be sad.
We choose to be angry or to be calm.
We choose to be full of hope or to be filled with despair.

There are two primary choices in life; to accept conditions as they exist, or accept the responsibility for changing them.
                                                 -Denis Waitley

We can be grateful for our life.
We can see the blessings that surround us.
We can look at our chores as gifts.
We can whistle and be cheerful in the face of adversity.
Choice is the greatest gift we've been given.

“In the long run, we shape our lives, and we shape ourselves. The process never ends until we die. And the choices we make are ultimately our own responsibility.”
-Eleanor Roosevelt

  5. Thank you for sharing these quotes. Eleanor Roosevelt is my favorite. I have been art journaling for over a year and half but, sometimes I don't feel I know what I am doing. However, it's my journal so I guess it doesn't matter. I am so glad I found your blog. Thanks again for sharing. Love, Pam
