Christmas Cheer

It is Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in the air.  ~W.T. Ellis

So yesterday's post just didn't sit well with me. I mean it was down right depressing. I was downright depressing.

Thanks, girls for all your comments.
I appreciated each of them and
am happy to report my attitude has been adjusted
and I am now out of Crankville:)

At Christmas play and make good cheer,
For Christmas comes but once a year
~Thomas Tusser

Tomorrow {Saturday} we are headed to Church for our Branch Christmas Dinner Party. Looking forward to friends and feeling the Spirit of the Season. Then later on the family and I are putting our Christmas tree up while watching our favorite Holiday shows. I think we'll even create a few ornaments for the tree:)

Enjoy your weekend everyone. Oh and be sure and stop by Monday for Day 2 of the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge.

What are your plans for the weekend? Anything Christmas related?

  2. Leslie, friend...I agree with sweet Bev...you were being real...and really, it is ok! And hey, you didn't stay there...you got pro-active about it! Good for you!!
I've missed "blogworld" . . . blogging and visiting blogs...November was an unplanned break from it...but I'm back! Merry Christmas season friend!!!

  3. You know, one of the nice things about blogging friends is that, for the most part, they are non-judgmental and supportive. Venting is not only allowed, it's good for what ails us!

Our plans? College daughters are coming over tomorrow with plenty of friends to decorate the house for Christmas. All it will cost us is dinner and a house full of laughter and fun!

  4. Hi Leslie..I'm glad you are feeling better, but don't fret the down days..they happen and are part of life. Sometimes a good meltdown or grump day is needed to get it out of our system and purge our attitude.

I'm behind on the weekly words...no surprise there) ugh..and was wondering if you have a running list somewhere of the words?? Thanks girl, hope you have a wonderful Saturday!
