Today is the day I Bless our home.
I will take out the mop, the broom and dustpan.
The vacuum and sprays.
I will dust and pick-up and
create
a clean and peaceful environment
for my family.

happiness or misery depends
on our dispositions
and not on our circumstances."

What a GREAT way of doing the necessities -- blessing our home. I just love that idea. This will help me look at house cleaning/maintenance in a whole new light.
ReplyDeleteI love the vintage poster too. When I was a little girl I'd rather be out mowing the lawn than helping clean inside the house!
I love your perspective on housework. Its something I struggle with a lot, and looking at it from your view is helpful! Im going to try that today and see how it goes!
ReplyDeleteSeeing housework as blessing the home is such a beautiful thing. I love these vintage images you've been including in your posts!
ReplyDeleteSo well said - and with such a cool picture too! I started setting Fridays aside to clean the house and it does feel so good. I get to be alone (bonus), listen to talk radio all day and by the afternoon, Humpty Dumpty is all back together again - BLISS! xoxoxo
